The 8th health law conference focusing on interdisciplinary health studies was held on November 29 and 30 in the conference hall of Houshman University of Medical Sciences.

This scientific event, which was organized by inviting 30 prominent professors in various fields of interdisciplinary health sciences from Iran and other countries, in two days, 118 guests and professors benefited from the presented materials.

In this ceremony, Dr. Shahriar Eslami Tabar, the director of the specialized health law department of Smart University of Medical Sciences, while explaining the records of the past 7 sessions of the conference, discussed the axes of interdisciplinary health studies in the two main branches of social sciences and health (including humanities and health; Religion, spirituality and health; management and policy making in health; health law and bioethics; geography, environment and health; health economics and financial management (and applied studies of health sciences) including health information technology and management; medical sciences and social welfare; criminal sciences and health; food industry and agricultural sciences; tourism and health entrepreneurship; mental health and behavioral sciences).

Dr. Babak Sabet, Vice President of Academic Affairs of the University, Dr. Mohammad Ahmadi, Vice President of International Affairs, and Dr. Hanieh Zahtab, Vice President of Infrastructure and other officials of Houshman University of Medical Sciences, were among the main speakers of this conference.
